Your Walt Disney World Spring Getaway
two resorts, a whole lot of magic6 Days / 5 Nights · April 12 – 17, 2027 · 4 Park Days
Spring at Walt Disney World with two precious princesses is pure magic, and I've picked two resorts that are both wonderful for little girls: the bright, decade-themed fun of Pop Century, or the storybook world of Art of Animation, where you'll stay inside a Lion King suite and swim next to Sebastian's Under the Sea Orchestra.
Both share the same Skyliner and bus connections and include the same 4 park days, so the real choice is the room setup and the resort experience. I've laid out the rooms, pools and food side by side, plus what it costs to add a dining plan or Memory Maker.

How the Two Resorts Compare
Pop Century and Art of Animation are neighbors, so a lot of the day-to-day is the same. Here's where they're alike and where they differ for a 4- and 6-year-old.
Getting Around
This one's a tie. Both resorts are served by the same Disney Skyliner route and by complimentary Disney buses, so getting to the parks looks exactly the same from either one.

| Where to | How you'll get there (both resorts) |
|---|---|
| EPCOT | Disney Skyliner gondola to the International Gateway entrance |
| Hollywood Studios | Disney Skyliner gondola |
| Magic Kingdom | Complimentary Disney bus |
| Animal Kingdom | Complimentary Disney bus |
| Disney Springs | Complimentary Disney bus |
The Pools
This is where the two resorts really differ. Both have three pools, free towels and daily family activities like pool parties, games and trivia with a Recreation Host.

Retro Pools by the Decade
- Hippy Dippy Pool ('60s): the main pool, with flower-shaped water jets
- Kiddie pool just behind Hippy Dippy, by Classic Hall
- Bowling Pool ('50s), shaped like a giant bowling pin
- Computer Pool ('90s), complete with a giant floppy disk and keypad
- Movies Under the Stars by the Hippy Dippy Pool on select nights
- Petals Pool Bar for snacks and drinks

Pools Straight Out of the Movies
- The Big Blue Pool (Finding Nemo): the largest resort pool at Walt Disney World, with a zero-depth entry that's perfect for little swimmers
- Schoolyard Sprayground splash pad with pop-up jets and Nemo characters
- Squirt's Righteous Reef, a Nemo playground for when the girls want to stay dry
- Flippin' Fins Pool (The Little Mermaid) with Sebastian's Under the Sea Orchestra
- Cozy Cone Pool (Cars), with cone-shaped cabanas for shade
- The Drop Off Pool Bar right by the Big Blue Pool
Eating at the Resort
Each resort has one big food court open 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM for breakfast, lunch and dinner, plus a pool bar. You can order ahead in the My Disney Experience app and skip the line, which is a lifesaver with tired kids. Both accept dining plans.

Everything POP Shopping & Dining
- Kids' favorites: cheeseburger, chicken strips, mac & cheese
- For the grown-ups: Gouda Vibes Burger, Citrus-Basil Salmon, Sesame Chicken
- Sweet treats: Mickey Brownie Sundae, Mickey Cupcake Cookies 'n Cream, plus house-made desserts like the rainbow cheesecake

Landscape of Flavors
- Kids' favorites: pasta with meatball, mac & cheese, chicken strips, plus kids' sesame chicken after 5 PM
- For the grown-ups: Mojo-Roasted Chicken, Mongolian Beef, Fish and Chips
- Sweet treats: Mickey Cinnamon Roll, Sketchbook Cake, Grubbin' Time Sundae

Add a Dining Plan
A dining plan prepays your meals so there's one less thing to budget once you arrive. The cost to add is the same with either resort and covers all 6 of you (everyone 3 and up) for all 5 nights. Credits roll over day to day, so a light day can turn into a bigger one later.

Perks of Staying at a Disney Resort
Good to Know
- Deposit & Final Payment: A $200 deposit per room confirms your package: $400 for Pop Century's 2 rooms, or $200 for the Art of Animation suite. Final payment is due March 13, 2027.
- Memory Maker Timing: To get the $185 price, Memory Maker needs to be added at least 3 days before your trip. Photos can be downloaded for 45 days after they're taken, so save them all once you're home.
- Park Reservations: Depending on your ticket, a theme park reservation may be required. I'll help you plan which parks to visit on which days once you're booked.
- Refurbishments: Disney notes refurbishment work at both resorts (and some construction at Pop Century). I'll keep an eye on it and let you know if anything affects your stay.
- Pricing & Availability: Subject to change until a deposit is placed.
