Campfires & Castles

a Walt Disney World adventure under the stars

9 Days  ·  The Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort  ·  March 20 – 28, 2027

A Note From Erica

Fort Wilderness is one of the coziest corners of Walt Disney World — tall pines, a campfire sing-along, a pool with a corkscrew slide, and the fireworks-and-lagoon magic just a boat ride away. It's a wonderful home base for a family with little ones.

Below you'll find your campsite, park tickets and Memory Maker laid out plainly, plus two ticket options side by side so you can choose the pace that fits your crew. I also pulled together the golf perks for campers, in case someone wants a morning on the greens.

with so much love, Erica

Two Ways to Do the Parks

Everything about your stay is the same in both options — the only difference is how many park days you'll have. Your little one under 3 visits the parks free.

Option 1

2 Park Days

  • Campsite: 8 nights, Full Hook-Up Campsite at The Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort
  • Tickets: 2-Day Ticket, 1 park per day — use any 2 days between Mar 20 and Mar 28, 2027
  • Memory Maker: every Disney PhotoPass photo and video from your trip
Package Total$3,450.44

Why that third day is worth it

With a 4-year-old and a baby along, a third park day gives you real breathing room. If someone needs a break or a nap partway through the day, you can head back to the campsite without feeling like you're losing a big chunk of your trip — then come back refreshed, or simply pick up the next morning. Fewer "we have to see everything today" moments, more happy memories.

Deposit to confirm: $200  |  Final payment due: February 18, 2027
Dining: No dining plan is included yet. If you'd like one added, just say the word and I'll price it out for you.
Where You'll Rest

Your Campsite

Magic Kingdom Resort Area · 8 Nights

The Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort

Full Hook-Up Campsite

Tucked into 750 acres of pine and cypress forest, where deer, rabbits and ducks wander by. Your campsite comes with water, electric, sewer and cable TV hook-ups, plus a picnic table and charcoal grill — and privacy landscaping so it feels like your own little corner of the woods.

For the kids: the Meadow Swimmin' Pool has a corkscrew waterslide and a fort-themed water play area with toddler-sized slides, and evenings bring Chip 'n' Dale's Campfire Sing-A-Long with marshmallow roasting. You can even watch the Electrical Water Pageant glide past from the resort's own shoreline.

For the Golfers

Golf Perks for Campers

Fort Wilderness sits in the Magic Kingdom Resort Area, right near two of Disney's courses — so a morning tee time is easy to fit in.

Championship · 18 Holes

Disney's Magnolia Golf Course

The longest of the Walt Disney World courses, reimagined in 2023 with new tees, bunkers and greens. Every hole now carries a name borrowed from a classic Disney film — and holes 14–17 make up the famously tricky "Grumpy's Gauntlet."

Family-Friendly · 9 Holes

Disney's Oak Trail Golf Course

A relaxed par-36 walking course with junior tees for young golfers — Disney lists it as welcoming guests from preschoolers on up. A sweet way to let your 4-year-old swing a club. (Walking only; no golf carts on this course.)

  • 1Complimentary taxi to the courses — Disney offers free taxi rides between select Walt Disney World Resort hotels and the golf courses. Ask Guest Services at check-in, and request a ride back from the Pro Shop after your round.
  • 2Free parking at the course — if you'd rather drive, there's no charge to park at the golf course.
  • 3Easy booking — reserve online or call (407) WDW-GOLF / (407) 939-4653, even just a few hours ahead. Walk-ups are welcome when space allows, and tee times can be cancelled up to 24 hours out.
  • 4Golf carts at the campground, too — rent an electric 4-seat golf cart to zip around Fort Wilderness itself (pick up at 1:00 PM, return by 11:00 AM). Book ahead at (407) 824-2742 — they go fast!
